Cilantro Haters, do you also not like wine?
"One day, a friend happened to mention that cilantro tastes different to different people. I happen to abominate cilantro. I looked it up and
learned that cilantro abomination is at least partly genetic. A surge of fellow-feeling rose in me when I found a Web site called IHateCilantro.com,
on which my gustatory brethren described the object of our mutual disaffection as tasting like old soap, dirty laundry, paint thinner, burnt rubber,
wet dog, cat pee, doll hair, damp socks, moldy shoes, old coins, feet wrapped in bacon, and “a cigarette if you ate it.”
Interesting observation, the person that wrote this also says that to her, wine tastes like earth and that's it. She doesn't get what everyone is
talking about. Just curious if other cilantro haters have the same response to wine.

If she knows what those things taste like, God help the man who kisses her.
I'm a fan of cilantro, so can't help you there.

Cilantro is plain awful. Only black licorice is worse.

Me too. And black licorice. lol
The bitterness of poor quality remains long after the sweetness of low price is forgotten.

It's all a matter of personal biochemistry; put the same scent on 6 different people (cologne, deodorant) and you'll have 5 different odors. Same
goes with taste; it's in the mouth of the beholder.

I am dreaming of a hot bowl of birria loaded with onions and cilantro!!! It must be a love/ hate thing: either you really love cilantro or you hate
it, period!

Ah, a pint of birria from the lil' place at the south topes from Mulege (just before Mary Belle's), with all the fixin's in little baggies... take 'em
to the trailer, put a cup of rice n' water in a stew pot, the birria, cilantro, unyuns, hot sauce, etc. and steam for 30 minutes.....
DIVINE.
