National Geographic Venture moored off La Paz Malecon
Saw this ship today. Didn't know it existed. Looks like fun if you like cruises.

It looks great. However, when it comes to these Baja expedition tips I'll have to admit I'm a little shy. Yes, about $10,000 shy.

I have been touring folks around Baja for years,
still trying to figure out how to get paid.
Nutzo, I even usually get stuck buying the beer...
Oh well, I give great tours.... Yosemite is also a specialty

I saw a Nat Geo ship a few years back in Santa Rosalia (not the same one referenced above). The crew was very nice and gave us a tour of the boat.
They had a relatively small number of passengers and had marine biologists as part of the crew. The agenda included whale watching at San Ignacio,
sea kayaking around the midriff islands... Looked like a cool experience!

Its on my wish list. I have been all over the peninsula but would love to see the islands up close. We did an Alaska inside passage cruise a couple
years ago on a ship with 24 passengers. There were experts to inform and kayaks to paddle I envision similar except you don't need foul weather gear.
Just a big hat and sunscreen.
Small is better.

The Nat Geo Venture is a brand new boat, just came down from the Northwest a few months ago.
