Is the Pemex pumping gas in Catavina yet, or is it still out of the jug?

I was through there a few weeks ago, pumps still wrapped in plastic and not any work being done. I asked the guy selling jerry can gas when the
station was going to open - his reply . . .quien sabe. I thought that was a pretty good answer

They were wrapped and ready a year ago when we were there.
That plastic must be getting pretty brittle by now.

Do you know what year it opened... ?
I remember the building in place in mid-1999 but it was all wrapped up.
I think one bought gas from Rancho Grande's private pump if you needed some then. In the 60s and 70s, gas was sold from cans at Alfonsina's (and
Papa's too, I bet?).
Was it open before 2005...? I drove by but don't recall without looking at my trip notes

Do I remember buying gas at the then Presidente Hotel, circa late 70s? Didn't they have a Pemex pump at the north end of the parking lot for a short
period?

They had one in the late 80s early 90s. I don't remember completely but I think the PEMEX in Catavina closed and the La Pinta put in a pump and
started selling gas. Then the PEMEX started again and the hotel stopped but I don't remember when. I could be wrong about the PEMEX starting a second
time.

Day: easy. Worst case walk up the street and he'll come down to the truck.
Night: can't say, never did that. Just went to the bar in the hotel then got gas the next morning.

I was responding to Willardguy's reply about the Gonzaga Pemex.
The Cataviña hotel got a Pemex pump in the mid 00s and it didn't last long. Gas from cans was sold before and after.
