I believe there is 1 in TJ, at the no. end of Revolution Ave.,
I think you can see it from the US side. Apart from that, for
some reason I'd like to see the giant square, zocalo in the
middle of Mexico Ciudad

I saw it when I got lost there
also saw some new housing tracts
made me think
of bajarunner
really it looked like nice housing

Yeah, there is big flag pole on a hill just south of Buenavista (which is south of LB) and just off Hwy 1 ... on Dia de la Bandera (Feb 24 this year) they put up a flag and have a ceremony or something ... whole bunch of folks go up there anyway ... that's the windy time of year, so the flag doesn't usually stay up more than an hour or two ...

You can also see the site in the "coat of arms" (?) for the Los Cabos municipality, which Buenavista is in (LB is in La Paz municipality) ... here is one example online:

There is one along the new Mexicali west border crossing, maybe a mile south of the border. You drive right below it!
