You mean the San Felipe 350, a long one again.

Seriously... 100 miles longer than the race name! Running south to Matomi Canyon then way north to Cohabuzo Jcn. after going down the Summit (original 1942 Pole Line Road)! Looks like over 30 miles on Hwy. 3 rather than using a parallel route in the arroyo or next to the highway?

It's in the top right corner of the map, 349.91 miles.

I guess the locked gate on the summit road (S side) was a precursor for the race. To keep casual drivers like me from driving over the summit until SCORE says it is ok????

Where is THE best place to watch?
I might try to see this a little.
Thanks

I like the sulfur mine valley... Many big dips. Just south of Race Mile 20. Access easily from Hwy. 5 at Km. 31 and go south when you reach the race course in about 4 miles. Or, just before Km. 32 and go west 4 miles to the sulfur mine and look for an ideal spot, north or south.

Great map, as always! Thank you.
Are you chasing or pitting for COPS Team?

The race is on Saturday 4/6, so if I'm headed to Mike's on Sunday 4/7 there should be no problem on Highway 3? It looks like part of the course is along (or on) Hwy 3?

John

If Saturday is Race Day, by noon Sunday should be clear? It is a longer race at 350 miles this year. They are not going to Mike's so even if the race was on, the highway through Valle de Trinidad will still be open to traffic.

It is fun to be passed by an 800 horsepower Trophy Truck or any race car! :light:

Da nada!

Subject to change, on race day I may be in Matomi Wash. Top, middle, bottom, don't know. The good news is we will be near a Baja Pits pit and they are making tacos!

If Carlos (the head of Baja Pits) is at that pit, tell him hello from me, if you talk. He will remember when Baja Angel and I did the communications for him in 2006... mostly because Roy (The squarecircle) was along too!
