Crossing at the Chaparral border crossing

Yesterday, I came to San Diego to be with my Mom for her 85th birthday. I arrived in TJ by bus and went to the Chaparral crossing which is also the ped-west border crossing.

It was 10 pm.

There were 3 other people crossing.

It took me 5 minutes to walk, hit immigration and arrive on the other side. I had a ride but there are taxi's waiting for riders.

Highly recommend this route if you are on foot. I figure that since all the stores at the mall are closed at 10pm, no one goes this route. It was total BLISS.

And always remember, life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by those moments that take our breath away.
