Wildflowers in the high desert


Here's a few photos from yesterday along Highway 138 in the California high desert. It was moderately breezy, so some the poppies and other wildflowers were partially closed. As always, we managed to stay far away from selfie-stick toting tourists.













Snow should be seen and not heard.

WOW, those are great pics!

I might just have to take a drive down there from Big Bear tomorrow. Been thinking about it for a few weeks but that just might be the push I needed.

Thanks. They say the poppies will be there thru April, but I would go sooner than later.
