Biosphere Annual Permits

I am looking to purchase an annual Biosphere Permit. Not have to hassle the wristbands fishing Mag Bay and the Coronado Islands. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks Brian

They are available at the ConAmp office in Ensenada. Otherwise you saw the links in the thread on BD to buy online. It is my understanding that whether you purchase online or in Ensenada the one year is good for all Biosphere areas.

So, a biosphere pass is also a fishing license good everywhere?

Negative DK. It’s just permission, that you pay for lol, that allows you to fish in the areas designated as Biosphere. Some think it’s conservation while others feel its extortion but regardless it’s law in Mexico and being enforced in some areas. Kinda like the FMM I guess. Some choose never to get it and never need it. Others choose to get it just in case. Once again all just a matter of how you roll.

Here is a link to an article written by Gary Graham explaining exactly what is needed to fish in Mexico and how to obtain everything.
