TerraSal not scam
With many, many hotels/motels, not limited to Mexico, we find their in-house restaurants disappointing. In Guerro Negro (at least twice a year for
several years), we prefer to stay at TerraSal. A minor issue but in our experience the front desk does not always accurately describe the operating
condition of the wifi (our EspaƱol is not good enough to watch the TV). For meals, we prefer to go just down the street (1/4 mile? same side) to the
Nautilus coffee shop/diner, and we have had a few decent dinners at Don Gus (a little further down on the left).

FWIW: Last Thursday, we stayed and ate dinner at the Malarrimo. It was good. I had sea bass and a shrimp c-cktail.

Malarrimo means bad to be near, but it was good for the 15 of us last Thursday, so go figure? I was surprised as I have read the negative reviews.

FWIW, Google translate doesn't know the word. "Mal" does mean "bad" but the Spanish word for "near" is "cerca".
"rimo" translates to "rhyme"
What's your source for your translation?

We really like staying at Terra Sal for housing.
Not too keen on the food.
We REALLY like Malarrimo for the filet mignon with mushroom sauce. Out of this world delicious.

Mal from "malo"=bad and Arrimo from the verb "Arrimarse"= to get near something or someone.
