To Close For Comfort

Mixing business with pleasure I flew from Maui to Honolulu and back on April 27, 1988 via Aloha Airlines. The outbound flight from Maui was on this aircraft. I remembered at the time the name on the fuselage was 'Queen Lilioukalani. The incident happened on April 28. Huge news at the time in Hawaii.

so pretty much your fault. That pressure cycle you had during that flight was the last straw!

Theory is she was killed instantly. Going from 0 to 300 or 400 MPH will do that.

I remember that incident very well. It was disturbing to see the plane taxi in with passengers sitting on an open deck in the open air,j and one of them sitting there had a large piece of sheet metal wrapped around their head.
