Back to the hurricane watch PLEASE. Any updates or real info would be appreciated by those actually living here.

We've had a 42mph gust already here's an update from my weather machine

Back to the important matter at hand.

HURRICANE Lorena has defied most predictions and is out over the warm, open water of the Sea of Cortez. Predicted track from the NHC is along the inside of the peninsula.

Maybe windy.com wasnt crazy when it predicted that the area between Santa Rosalia and Mulege might get 12-36 inches of rain over a five day period. That prediction was about 24 hours ago.

5:30am - 85º - NE 7mph too dark to see but much calmer than last night. Appears that Lorena is moving East a bit and degrading some soon. Still, expecting lots of rain and wind here. Hope everyone south of us does well and is safe.

Lorena

Loreto: Frequent rain bands passing over with some heavy rain and moderate wind. Storm center is now out over the gulf and could strengthen from current TS back to H. Still south of us and coming on slowly. Mario will soak the west side and Lorena the east for a very green fall show.

Maybe you have a different Windy.com than me. Mine measures in mm, not inches. 12-36 mm = 0.5-1.4 inch.

I hate to interrupt, but you can change your Windy forecast to read in inches or millimeters, and the wind speed in knots, or mph. Your choice!

Looks like it’s about over in Loreto. Think I’ll put the shutters up.
