I may be able to help out. I don't have a plan yet, other than S.O.B. some time this fall!

I am a bit concerned about how I would legally tow someone else's trailer south without having a problem.

By the way, I have a vehicle large enough to tow it now! I still have an itty bitty Kia, but it is going to sit out the next trip.

I'm coming down in a couple weeks. Post a pic of it. Do you have registration and current tags?

What's the condition? Good tires? Barrings well oiled? Safety chains? Working lights? Etc.

In my whale magic trip experiences with Shari, no boats are allowed to chase down any whales or their calves.

Every time the boat drivers would see whales spouting in the distance, they would cut the motors and drift until the moms and their calves approached on their own accord seeking direct human contact.

It was their choice to join us or not. I believe this is a policy for all guided trips on all of the birthing lagoons.

Stress them out by chasing them down like here in California? That would be unacceptable down in Baja. It is the whales choice to approach.

Stress? Not likely.

This past winter we had two moms with their calves repeatedly come back to us for over an hour for more loving touches and looking into their eyes and the only reason that session stopped was of an approaching thunderstorm.

We were the ones that had to cut the time short. This was all up to them and they chose to come back for more direct human touch. We were ecstatic by the moments we were given.

Thats my two cents for what it is worth to anyone.

OMG I could get a disease from giving the whales a rub when they pop up within arms reach for just that interspecies touch which is their choice to do or not? I will believe that when ............ Never mind.

Bump!

Shari, have you been able to line up someone else headed your way with the trailer?

I have not given up on helping out, but I still have not resolved some of the details I have to finish up before I can travel

I am awaiting word on the owner of the trailer might bring it down...so stand by and thanks for hanging in there. I may call on you to bring down one of our expedition tents if you have room.

Shari, do you know the dimensions (rolled up for transport) and weight of the tent? If not, is there something online that I can link to for the info?
