Great site.
I met a Canadian couple in 2017 at Mission San Luis Gonzaga, doing this... in August! I passed them again the next day heading to San Evaristo...
stopping to give them ice-cold water bottles! We are Facebook friends since their return to the Great White North, eh?

I am pretty sure that I met that couple when Ged, Dave and I did a central Baja loop just before Thanksgiving 2016. One of the pictures included a
shot that looks just like where I met them in Arroyo San Raymundo.
I topped off their water jugs with ice cubes, and shared some cheese and Ice tea with them. We didn't chat long, Ged and Dave were way ahead of me,
and starting to wonder what happened to Bailey and me!
If you are not living on the edge, you are taking up too much space!

Seen a bunch of them on the sand road to Ojos pushing their bikes and met a couple resting up at BOLA at Costa del Sol last December.

Having just completed a recumbent trike peddle across the USA from Chicago to Santa Barbara I can verify that seeing the country, any country, at
bicycle speed is a completely new, interesting and very rewarding experience. It will change you. I thought of Baja a lot on my trip as so much of the
western part reminded me of all those drives through the deserts and mountains of Norte and Sur. It also helped me to respect even more the
determination and grit it takes to ride the length of Baja under the power of your own two legs. Kudos to all those riders. And when you pass them on
the highway, give 'em the lane, pass slowly and know that a little beep beep of encouragement always helps.
