"aburrido"

Transparent Language's "Word of the Day" translates "aburrido" as "boring", but I've also seen it translated as "bored", as is the case with spanishdict.com. Are both usages correct? I could see where things might get a little confusing. :?:

With the correct pronoun it´s not that confusing.
eres aburrido=you are boring
estoy aburrido=I´m bored

I think the difference is in using estar or ser.
Estoy aburrido = I'm bored
Soy aburrido = I'm boring

Exactly the concise explanation I had hoped for. Gracias!
