Who knew? - 2 kinds of Dorado.

http://ncfishes.com/knowledge-base/pompano-dolphin-identific...
While researching an upcoming Maui trip (SWMBO has allowed a travel rod to be brought) I came across a discussion on the two types of dolphin fishes, both a fairly common around Hawaii.
I had no idea - anyone run across these in Baja waters?

Is this Dolphin-Pompano different than the typical Baja Pompano, a favorite Nomad had for his handle?

Seems like all we have around Loreto is the small variety. Off shore long-liners get all the bigger variety.
