We met Blanca!
Finally ran into the wonderful Baja Blanca and her hubby, Les. Very kindly invited us for coffee (well, turned out to be beer, even better!) at their
place. Great folks and their BnB is AMAZING!! Check it out if you haven't already.

Some nice surprises this trip. Potholes around CataviƱa are almost all fixed or completely re-paved. Yay! Campo Rene at Estero Coyote has wifi! (This
working nomad is really happy about that).
Fishing has been fabulous. Glad to be back!
Trying to decide whether to head south to Todos Santos or north to Bahia Asuncion next. Hmmm...

I'd like to meet Blanca too!
I'll be taking friends down there for a nice whale "fantasy tour" one of these days. "Touch a whale?!

It was so wonderful to meet Fred and Kristene! They are so interesting and I really want to hear more stories. We will all be getting together this
Friday for margaritas!
Tough call but I think you can do both Bahia Asuncion (so close) and then head down to Todos Santos.
It will be nice to meet you Rocket, we will be out of town at the end of the month and return around Feb. 8.

Have a fun evening with them. I got to know these two one evening back in December 2001 at their Posada ConcepciĆ³n home. Captain Mike introduced
us... I was following their story to the Bahamas then they fell off the radar until last year. Glad they are back on Nomad.

David: It was our pleasure to meet you as well! It's good to be back here. Not sure how much travelling we'll be doing this trip. It's the first time
we've come down solo in a long time and we've been enjoying the slow pace and just digging in on the beach at Estero Coyote!
Blanca: Thanks so much for inviting us last night! I am still full from that AMAZING lobster!! A really fun group of folks, too! See you Monday.

Here we are last night at our local Cabanas Restaurant. We did have a fun time and the food was outrageous. Lobster is almost always on sale at $250
pesos or around $12 US dollars.
Famous Joaquin joined us for a while too, he is in the back, on the left.

I got a signed book! Kristene has a science fiction series! I got the first of the 5 and I can't wait to read it. WARP WORLD is on Amazon and the
first book is free on kindle.
We had her and husband Fred over for lunch and laundry, they are at campo rene if anyone is headed that way. Interesting doesn't begin to describe
them: they have lived in so many countries and have so many stories to share. What a fun day.
Notice that I got some donations too! As soon as school starts, I intend to go to the middle school and share the fun.

For Shari! Are you in San Diego? If you are not planning a trip south soon, I can make sure the suits get to Shari since Bahia Asuncion has a surf
club!

Yes Blanca I'm in San Diego...I failed to get the suits to you when you were here last visiting you mom.
You had mentioned Shari before. I am not heading south until next fall so any help getting them there would be appreciated.

If it would be helpful, i have a tour scheduled with Shari on 2.17 and could deliver your wetsuits. I'll be passing through San Diego on 2.14.
I like to explore remote dirt tracks and beaches.

Finally back on speedy wifi so I can reply! Thanks so much for sharing this, Blanca. You and Les are wonderful and meeting you was the highlight of my
trip. We've already been raving about your B&B to all our friends.

Thanks for the kind words Kristene, we miss you guys!
David, I believe the first book is free on Amazon and kindle. Then one buys the sequels.
Paranewbi's donated wetsuits are BEAUTIES and they are already in Bahia Asuncion. It was so neat to meet a bajanomad in person! One of my favorite
moments is meeting the angels around our neighborhood.
Life is good, we are home and happy.
