Just south of the 28° parallel and runs west to east.

looks like you have a trail marked in your last image David.

I have been looking for that trail for a long time.
Haven't found it yet.
Goes to Visita San Juan de las Parras

I located a man made ramp going in and out of the arroyo, but not much more

did it on bikes in 2003, did it in a 4 wheel drive (never engaged the front ) in 2013. when we got through we found out that Ricardo at Rice and beans in san Ignacio had purchased a large property around the La Trinadad area. He and a group of investors wanted to develop something out there. I think he would be the one to talk to if coming from the south..... he is an off road friendly guy.

Harald, that is the road shown on the topo maps in Arroyo San Juan. The arrow I added so that JZ could see where it was...

What Arroyo San Juan were you talking about if not that one?
