Southern Baja - Pescadero / Todos Santos Surf fishing report this Past week March 1st to 8th

Hola All: This past week my brother was in town! Always good to be on the water with him. We have had a lot of clouds this winter, seems every week or so a river of clouds pour through. This past week was this way and it continues today. Wind and some rain this past Tuesday morning. Mixed a few things up this week, Monday fished the rocks for Pargo (nada) and Wed. went looking for Snook and Pargo up the coast, had the quad out and went looking up the coast. We went North, put 80 miles on the quad, 40 miles up. Did not find what we were looking for, we did find deserted beaches. The Sierra are still around, a few big ones hooked this week.
Cool side note, on Saturday when I picked my brother up, We drove over the Sierra De La Lagunas, they call it the Naranja Road over the mountains.
Anyway, here is what we caught this past week and a couple of photos.
Tight Lines Amigos, bk
Sun. - 2 Sierra
Monday - 1Toro - rocks
Wed. - 2 Sierra, 2 Bonita, 2 Toro. - Quad Day
Thurs. - 2 Sierra
Friday - 4 Sierra, 2 Bonita

yes a couple of the nicer sized Sierra. Sierra Killer, Jansen Inshore Fishing. Sort of like an oversized KastMaster.

Are you getting a lot of blow back for driving on the beach? [Assuming you are doing that]

Those beaches are not near any houses and town is a long ways.....so no one to yell at you.

Here's a link to the lures Janson sells on line.

I bought a boat load thinking maybe something would work here. Seems the only thing working here are the shrimp and sardine boats. I know the palliegic (sp) fish won't arrive for a few more months but I still dream of the old days.
