Asthma inhaler QVAR question

Are any Nomads aware of, or use, the asthma "QVAR redihaler 80 mcg" inhaler?

Is it available over the counter or prescription?

What are you paying for it?

We would not want a generic substitute.

I don't use it and can't verify that it is stocked here, but Farmacias del Ahorro shows 200 dose QVAR 100mcg for 759 p. Advair here is $32 (627 p) compared to over $350 in the US.

Where is Farmacias del Ahorro? is that name specific to a particular pharmacy?

What you posted isn't quite the same dosage so we'd have to figure that out.

I'm asking because my wife uses it twice daily and our trip will last longer than a single inhaler. Hopefully her stateside md will recognize that and provide a prescription for two inhalers....

Here in So Ca the inhaler is over $270 without insurance, our good drug coverage insurance knocks it down to $25.00

John have Barbara ask her DR for a 90 day supply subscription. That's what I do for my Advair.
