Letter from CAREM, Tecate (Baja History Museum) 3-20-20

Dear Friends,

In light of growing concerns regarding COVID-19, the Tecate Community Museum is monitoring the situation carefully and will offer up-to-date announcements on our website and social media platforms.

Please note that the Museum is taking the necessary precautions to ensure the safety and well-being of our visitors and staff members. We will contribute to all government actions to prevent the spread of the virus.

These precautions include:

Regular and frequent sanitation procedures.
Hand sanitizing stations.
Limiting the number of guests in the Museum at one time.
Postponing guided tours.
Also all activities and events in our Miguel Mathes Media room and Library will be rescheduled into the future.

The Museum will remain open and provide a space for visitors to tour the exhibitions, establishing guidelines in accordance with the recommendations of the Ministry of Health, related to a “healthy distance”, therefore, we will provide a space for visitors to visit our facilities at their own pace.
