Lol, I was f'ing with the board's troll.

The letters are actually real. I'll post part of one tomorrow. I did make up the bit about the uniform.

My biz is considered an essential service for the US govt. and I've made letters on the company's letter head for all my employees who need to travel to our SoCal office.

My brother's 2 letters are next level though, from DHS

Method? Distasteful? Just my opinion. You a snowflake?

Thumbing his nose at the rest of us? You've got to be kidding.

JZ is having fun. His kids are having a blast. Posts videos, writes interesting stories, and gets to Baja often. Posts great photos of his dog!

What do you contribute about Baja? Like Tom, rag on people that don't fit your idea of NOB ethics or morals. Grow up.

500 in California buddy. Out of 40M.

I know you are on your knees beside your bed every night praying that the numbers will go higher, so you can tell us all how smart you are.

What weird thing has to happen to someone to root for Americans to die, and the American way to end? Disgusting.

And that's without any roadblocks, Communities refusing entry, hundreds of people lined up at Costco, Vons, Walmart, (AKA crowd gatherings), and free food lines in large venues for those who are suffering from Economic depression.

Two days ago south of San Vicente fed check point with medic . Checking people if sick also if not living south. Sent back North as reported by nextdoor pastor . With closed church there they asked why go. It's closed anyway. . So far all open in my small City restaurants motels . T paper surgical gloves masks antibacterial soap . All markets full no patrol on beach as nobody there anyway except on us holidays. Two weeks ago two police trucks with two ambulances red lights on. Loud speaker ordered all people stay in house. Enforcement zero when it hits here maybe then enforcement people are using mask and gloves.

Thanks Larry for the news from San Vicente!

Today's San Diego Union reported Tijuana Hospital maxed out with Coronavirus patients... I thought Baja was claiming to be almost free of it? Maybe fake news?

On the Road Again

FINALLY. Some blue skies as the clouds and rain blow away for a day. Hopefully more. Much more.

Time for my "essential" 100 mile (RT) drive to check on the trailer, feed the critters and commune with nature while avoiding the people.

In doing so and assuming that the campground is still open, I have little doubt that I'll find (as I did last week) lots of people at the campground (with God on their side ?) practicing "social gathering" rather than "distancing". Especially, those dozens of kids grouping together. But, as long as they remain isolated from ME, mi esposa y mi chihuahua ........... that's life.

Speaking of essential services, I'm in a quandary over Haircuts. Wondering earlier in the week whether my usual barber was open for business, I drove by and saw that he was. "Great", I thought, but then .............. having been in there more than a couple of times when there were those suffering from colds and flus (including the barber at least once) ........... is it WORTH the risk ? So far NO !

I did go by Walmart and purchase a clipper/shaver, but it's obvious that I wouldn't be able to handle the entire surface (especially the back) and mi esposa is thoroughly unenthusiastic about trying to play barber.

Decisions, decisions.

I'm going to have her do a house call next week.

Good idea, the bite was falling off on the dog pictures. Will there be pictures of the haircut?
