Not a big deal
If you want to rage about rock writing then the real culprits are the brain dead scribes that scribble on the great rock array at Catavina.
Now that, folks, is pretty disgusting!!

got pictures?

No, I don't have pictures
Not of graffiti and despoiled nature

A few years ago the BF Goodrich racing pits painted up one of the great rocks there and there were plenty of those pics posted, but not by me,

Sorry, but the word ''WELCOME'' doesn't mean graffiti to me. E'Es MEXICO, SENORES. Get the flock over it. Might have been originally done back in the fly-in days, ever think of that? WELCOME, P*NCHE GRINGOS!

Cataviña paint crap is graffiti.

Narrowing it down a bit, I think the "Welcome to La Gringa" letters were painted sometime between March 2006 and May 2008.

- They are not visible in the historical March 2006 satellite image I posted.

- They are mentioned by Nomad Matt&Mutt in his May 2008 story:

I think it's totally lame.
And why? It is graffiti.
