Municipal and state blockades are illegal!!

https://mexiconewsdaily.com/news/coronavirus/municipalities-...

According to this article today the 340 blockades around the country are unconstitutional
The article points out that Baja is one of the states that is enacting these barriers.
Who wins this little tussle??

There is enough enforcement of laws that a form a civilized society manages to persist...
If there was zero enforcement, as you state, then anarchy would reign, and Mexico would be a failed state like Somalia...

Woke!

Haha Mexico is a failed country. It's so disorganized they just don't know that. Anyone living here is sure to know that.

I have to agree with you btr. I´ve lived down here full time for 22 years.
These guys have no clue. If you want law enforced you go to the narcos. The cops will take your money and do NOTHING. It is what it is.

I cannot blame them . My first trip to Baja 1976 my Mexican friends dad at 85 years. Told me drive your truck and Moto a little slower. You want to buy a house when you sell it less then half what you pd. Forever to sell it too. Ohh and by the way there is no law here as you know it in USA. Sad to say true to this day.

Good to know that "the law" is on the side of the traveler! I can't wait to pull up to one of those blockades and demand to see their badges!

Well Butch and Sundance were able to pull it off! :wow:

If you are not living on the edge, you are taking up too much space!

"Could do better if he tried!" Report card comments from most of my grade school teachers. Sadly, still true!
