I could not find the English version (without subscribing) but with my poor Spanish skills, it appears that the closure was for 20 minutes, and there are no current delays in flight status.

Anyone else have any info?

No big deal, closed for only 20 minutes.

Electronic translation:

"Tijuana.- After announcing through a statement that it would close its facilities, the Tijuana International Airport backed down its intentions, because although it initially accused Tijuana City Council personnel of having entered restricted areas, exposing the security of the facilities, it was personnel of the State Commission for the Protection against Sanitary Risks (Coepris).

In the end, it was only 20 minutes the time that the airport remained closed after a review because "it was confirmed that the person who entered the sterile area by force was a worker" of the state agency, accused the Pacific Airport Group, a company facilities operator."

They sure made a big deal of it on the morning news. They then showed how poorly the airports here are dealing with covid. No distancing, few masks,no gel where people were using the row of computer key boards. I would feel safer on the airplane than in an airport down here.

Airports must stay open, we don't want to impede the virus transmission :)
