The Cabanas Restaurant reopens!

We went to the Cabanas Restaurant today for the first time in forever. We met up with 2 friends from Punta Abreojos.

We had agreed beforehand that we would sit at separate tables and also eat outside.

The waiter, Hector, took our temps and asked our amigos if they had been out of town. One of them just got back from San Diego 2 days ago, so we were not allowed to stay, changed our order to takeout.

The food took a long time (it always does). All 4 meals were delicious! I had LOBSTER! I always ask for melted butter on the side. Still $250 pesos, comes with a big salad, rice and beans. It was really tasty.

Les had fish tacos. One friend ordered a mushroom and spinach omelette since he wanted brunch and the other friend ordered chilaquiles. Everyone was happy.

The best part? MARGARITAS … Hector makes the best margaritas!!

That is yours truly - I go nowhere without my wipes and wipe down any surface I might come into contact with.

Be sure to notice the reflection of the lagoon in the window. It was such a beautiful day for Father's day yesterday!
