Trip down

Crossed the border at Algodones at about 1:30 pm Thursday, they are closing at 2:00 now. Had to pay some duty but they were very nice and quite efficient. We only had a 180 day FMM but had a copy of our power bill and our Fido and this was enough to make them OK and this was the only time we were asked. If you really have to make the trip as we did cross mid week and tell them you are going all the way South where you become someone else’s problem.

Sorry about the lack of detail, we took 5 from San Felipe to 1 and straight down from there the best road conditions and least construction detours I have ever seen.
