Starting back with my first long drive down to El Arco in 1971 I always said...... You can drive a Rolls Royce over these roads if you go slowly enough

Watching that stick shifter reminded me of my first pre- run for the 1972 500. We had a 3 speed stick Ford pickup and going up the Sisters out of Gonzaga was a real clutch burner...
