Reopening of the Tecate Community Museum

We are very happy to announce that the Tecate Community Museum facilities are open again to the public as of Friday August 7, 2020. Operating hours are 10:00am to 5:00pm Wednesday through Sunday.

The Museum reopens under the supervision and with the authorization of the Department of Economic Development and Tourism, and in coordination with the city of Tecate’s Department of Civil Protection. The authorization received reflects compliance with the COVID-19 health contingency and satisfies all required safety measures and hygiene protocols.

These new measures will be implemented for the safety of our visitors and employees. We invite the attending public to comply appropriately ensuring their visit will be safe and enjoyable.

For the time being, meetings, inaugurations, conferences, workshops and guided tours are suspended.

In this very strange year, the masks make it appear that the museum has been occupied, rather than opened!



If you are not living on the edge, you are taking up too much space!
