Baja Nomad visitor in La Bocana! John M

John M and wife have stopped by for a visit! How magic a moment to meet them.

Last night we went to the beach restaurant for dinner. Lobster, shrimp, breaded steak and more!!!!

Great day when you meet new amigos in person!

Mom is here, as you all know, so I took a photo of her in front of the restaurant. She is so darn elegant, I honestly don't know how I didn't get those genes but I am happy in shorts and tshirt.

Notice that she has adapted well, she is wearing flip flops LOL

She is enjoying the calm of La Bocana. We have such a nice routine of taking a walk every morning - Les, Mom, Frida and I. Then breakfast. Then gardening and some housework. Les usually makes lunch. Tv for a bit and then siesta afterwards.

We are working hard at loving life!

So, yesterday Les brought in a box while I was chatting with Barbara and I did not get a chance to open it and peek inside until today.

Oh my Goshhhhhhhhhhhhh

Notebooks and more notebooks! pencils! colored paper (which Tidiana just asked me for) and notebook paper and copy paper.

I feel like I just won the lottery - just with Tidiana's kids, 7 notebooks each was 28. I also gave 7 each to Regina and Lesly, the 2 high schoolers who stopped my the other day. And there is a new child who is in 5th grade - Alejandro - who also needed 7 notebooks, he just started being tutored this week.

They also had fun seeing Tidiana and gave her a donation of food and coffee. They saw two of her kids being tutored at the picnic table behind the bnb. Next visit, they must have a meal with Joaquin...we all know that La Bocana is the beach restaurant and Joaquin's!

Thanks again Barbara and John, have fun in San Ignacio and Los Barilles!

That's awesome!
Had a lovely chat with Barbara before they left on their trip.
Hey Blanca was your mom able to bring the shoes/sneakers I sent to her when she flew down? Lori

I wish all of you were on your way for a visit! The weather is hot but really nice for the beach.

Lori, the shoes indeed arrived! They are awesome!! My mom asked if she can have 2 of them, is that OK? Her size, perfectly. She used all her allotted weight to bring me book and these shoes when she flew down. She loves one of the sandals...says they feel like she is walking on a cloud.

Thanks, everyone!
