Travel trailer to alejandros??????
Iv only been to alejandros (seven sisters) once in a very old RV, the road in didn’t seem too bad. Am I crazy for thinking I could tow a 5000 pound
21 foot travel trailer in there with a f250?

You are not crazy. Might break something, might not. People tow in all kinds of trailers to there. There, over the years, have seen travel trailers,
jet skis and cargo trailers.
If and what you break depends on the condition of the approach hump on the day you do it. But you know that. Enjoy.

In April 2017, not much there:
The signs called it Campo San Andrés rather than Alejandros, which was the name my last time through in 2007.

depending on the state of the road it's usually easy to get a trailer in...down the big hill but very difficult to get it out....up the hill.

Been there 3 times in last 5 years. The road up and over the steep hill to the camp is IMO a 4WD thing if you are towing. I think a 21' trailer would
be pushing it, but doable if your set up is strong The grade is very steep.
4 wheel low and go slow....
My 4WD F250 towing a small utility trailer that was carrying a UTV was no problem..
but its very steep.... I think I have pictures somewhere
There is a route to the left of the hill but not advisable as to its windy, sandy nature and gets damp from a high water table sometimes.
If you look at that route I would suggest that someone scouts it out on a motorcycle or ATV the ENTIRE way to make sure you won't get stuck.
The last times we were there it was too dicey and would be easy to get stuck with no turnaround

One last thing: the steep hill has a couple dips where the trailer could possibly high center... you would have to inspect it at its current state
Come to think of it, the times I have been there I have not seen one camper with a travel trailer....

Agreed. Conditions of that are constantly changing. Have to eye ball it to be sure!

The road elevation goes from 30 ft. to 190 ft. on just 0.6 mi. (1 km)... beginning by the fork in the road, near the east end of the lagoon.
