What are those new metal boxes in the lanes
at San Ysidro, just before you talk to the agent to re-enter the U.S.?
They're metal, about 5 feet tall, 12 inches wide, 8 inches or so deep.
We asked the Homeland Security agent about them, he just shrugged and said he didn't know, but he said it with a, "Sucka, I know and I'm not telling."
smirk.
I know that they are redoing the id technology for the Sentri lanes, but these boxes are being built in all the lanes it looks like.

They have them at the East Mexicali crossing now also. The bus and RV lane has them about 10 ft high. Rumors - radiation detectors and xray
epuipment - to find open compartments in vehicles that illegals might be smuggled inside.
They havent stopped my pace-maker and I'm not glowing so not too worried.

Radiation ??
There was someone over on the UCR website that claimed they were Radiation Detectors.
Who knows ?
If they are radiating us each time we go through, I guess that's another reason to limit the number of times we come North.

Radiation Detectors it is.
I talked to a gentleman today that was connecting them. He told me they are there to read nuclear material. Said they are so sensitive that they can
read if someone has even had radiation therapy. That's my newsreport for the day,k

Okey dokey now,
you have just given life to one of my worst nightmares...
The Homeland Security Agent/Dental Assistant!
There you are, waiting in line, no place to go to escape. The lead aproned drone emerges out of the box to...aiiieee! (screams and drilling noises,
car is vaporized by stealth technology), giving birth to an anti-Baja OC suburban Stepford wife/husband drone.
Surely, there must be some kind of anti-soul sucking defense (tacos, enchiladas, pictures of the seven sisters) that you can clutch to your breasts
for protection?
See you all on the back side of technology.
