Q Anon in Baja ???
This forum is by and large a portal for citizens of USA who have an interest in Baja . Certainly residents from other countries visit Baja and might
read BN for informational and recreational reading, but the perspectives and opinions voiced are predominantly those of US residents/citizens.
As such, it is not difficult to sometimes notice biases.....where are the better tacos, what tires should I use, whose map is better, have I been to
all the right spots, etc.
Such "gringo" conversations may or may not accurately reflect the views of Baja locals......but certainly are reflective of posters' baseline frames
of reference.
I came across an interesting article that helped me understand what drives some of the more extreme perspectives : QAnon.

I am not looking for trouble....I can do that in other ways.
I found the article interesting in that it helped me re-frame my understanding of just how it gains its traction. And it helped me formulate my
response and reactions to such social phenomena.....as I often come out of the gate like you.
Did you read it?

My intention with this post is NOT to stir up crap....but, rather,
to see/understand how such processes work. In my profession, we were encouraged to look beyond the "content" of what a person has to say/think and
understand the underlying cognitive processes that keep maladaptive patterns to continue unchanged.
What Qanoners might believe is a product of how they are vulnerable to such beliefs.
As for relevance to Baja..... it might fit for the processes that set up a belief in a chupacabra.... or all police are corrupt and seeking bribes....
As for the Saw movies....they are too spooky for me

Article is interesting. Odd to start a thread here but??
Of course its all nonsense but i do find it interesting to see a cult operating in broad daylight. To the cults of the pre-internet days they had to
pull off some great marketing and one on one persuasion to get the job done. To get sucked in you needed active participation , you had to walk to
meetings, get on the telephone, read a flyer. Now you just need a computer, photo editor and some lonely people to get started.
Only way to combat this is to get CRITICAL Thinking as part of the k-12 schooling curriculum. You have to wait for a few generations to age out
before you get back to the normal fringe element of under 5%. Its way to high now.

There have been many arrests of Democratic operatives involved in sex trafficking children. Jeffrey Epstein, G Maxwell, Harvey Weinstein, Anthony

Quite a list from kid G'new. Number 2 (Epstein) in the list was surprising to see. I will grant you 100% he was a trafficker without question. Too
bad we didn;t get a trial. The guy was pure scum. The GIZ trial will be the new trial of the century. But rather than a cabal of organized ring of sex
trafficking, I think we'll find this was rich dudes who got into honey traps and got blackmailed for $$'s or information. Just your basic Soviet

In summary: There is the most common. It has the word here in it, which is helpful because it's often about location. They're always means "they are."
Their is the possessive form of they.
