Border xings?

Hi all, I checked the US Dept of state for information on the border status. I know a while back it was closed and they kept pushing extensions, last I saw was Nov 21st. I recently did not see extensions for closures beyond that date. Also had friends cross recently with no problems or hangups... I am planning on heading across around mid Jan of 2021. Can anyone confirm the "no official closures" status I have researched? Thanx in advance 😃

Mood: I'd rather regret the things I've done than regret the things I haven't done.

I drove from Southern California to Loreto a couple weeks ago and returned yesterday. I am an American citizen and had absolutely no problems at all. If you need an FMM I assume that is just as easy.

On November 21 The Canada-U.S.-Mexico border crossing restrictions were extended to at least December 21, just as they have been every month since first imposed.

If you come down to Baja for non-essential travel, you are subject to a body cavity search.
