The full episode will be on Amazon TV... called "The Last Mission"...

I see nothing too. DK is posting flash links, and the world has abandoned flash... no longer supported by safari or chrome browsers... I guess you could dust off some antique browser to view his flash link, eh?

Woke!

I am on Chrome and it plays fine for me.

I checked with Doug's instructions on the new tags to use, and added them. Here is what the new link looks like (with a space added to prevent it showing):

It worked on my Chromebook.....
but disappointed. It doesn't really represent the trail and seems more focussed on their rigs and tires....slick truck porn.

I have a few hours of unedited helmet cam footage from 2006 stored somewhere....a conversation with Ralph at the Inez goat corral, and the trip both ways up to Widowmaker....walked to mission.
Shoulda edited it....

That would be great to see Ged.
This two minute clip was just some B-reel footage that Pat added music to, and not intended to be anything more than a pleasant moment on the road. The TV episode should be killer.

By-the-way, the first seconds are from when the drone flew into a palm tree at the Widowmaker... Not sure why Pat left that in other than to show the guys driving?

OK, so here is the video opened using the newer youtube tags:

Yes....it's in the basement storage somewhere....a video cassette...old technology but the vid cameras are also stored....

The beginning of the trail was a few kms of canteloup/baseball rocks and rain trenches, then some nice double track (no evidence of any recent travel other than horse), and then scouting was needed to find track.... a solo ride on orange 450.
Enjoyed a break behind a little stone wall (windy day) at the elevation divide, from which both Pacific and Gulf could be viewed.

Nomads at The Widowmaker and The Bog, 2010 (HB Murphy videos)

Our epic 2010 trip to Mission Santa María on video.

Three Tacomas, one 4Runner, one Dakota, and a 4x4 motorhome!

Video one is coming down the Widowmaker in the lead Tacoma.

Video two is my Tacoma followed by the rest of the gang, coming down the Widowmaker.

Video three is the first Tacoma going through the bog (be sure to have the volume up, as Zoom in the lead Tacoma is quite funny).

Here is the longer version, thank god for fast forward! A few too many drone shots and slow-moving off-roading shots.

Nice to see you learned how to put in links w/o tha old fogey flash stuff ;)

It is only a 15 minutes piece... near the start is a clip of them on the La Turquesa Grade going east... which they did after going to the mission. Not sure if all the drama of the drone stuck in a palm tree will be in the TV show? LOL
