Diablo update

New since last fall.
The Santa Clara ranch owner has redone the fencing and now find a gate at the Ranch. To get to the trailhead you have to pass the thru the gate and pay the rancher 100 pesos per person to proceed.

Hmm, interesting. I have used the ranch road many times to reach the trailhead over the years and several times I found nobody home as I passed through. Just wondering what one should do if owner isn't home?

100 pesos in an envelope with your name on it, maybe a note inside?
