Nice to see a full slat of races this year. Baja could really use the economic activity. Just wishing I could go.

Saw on Facebook that Baja is now green regarding the virus. I wonder if the US border authorities will recognize that and open the border to full time use?

Tecate will be open to 4 pm on Sat and Sun beginning Mar. 28. Are we supposed to cheer for the extra 2 hours on just two days of the week? LOL

Does anybody use tecate?
Most everyone I know uses Mexicali or TJ, whether or not they got SENTRI/GE...

Woke!

Get a Sentri pass.

It saves from driving an hour plus out of the way to Tecate.

And it's open 24/7.

No, Tecate is on my way home.
My last time driving my truck to Baja was in 2018 (I was a passenger for the two 2019 TV show trips).
I have no idea on the future.
Sentri is for people who cross the border frequently... that isn't me anymore.
:(

Those poor arroyos! I hope some flash floods smooth them out after the race!

Got it... me too, staying north a bit longer. We still need to "test" that new Tacoma in the dirt more... at least for me to see how the new traction systems work! :light::biggrin:

Hi all,

Not much SB traffic this evening at Mexicali West no checks of anything. The local Polica were out shaking down people coming across. Nothing new there. Some SB US cars in a hurry to get to SF and a number of trucks headed north to get away from the race. The military check point waved us through! Gas in Mexicali $18.18 - $18.99 SF $20 + per liter.
