NOCO GB40 Starter- 3 years, still good!

I just had the chance to use my GB40 on a neighbor's car twice in the last few days. Had to use the "boost" mode the second time, battery only read 2V on multimeter. Worked as advertised.

Used this charger about a dozen times now (not on my own vehicles, yet) and it seems to still work just fine after 3 years. Seems to be well made and worth the price, and peace of mind.

Coincidently, yesterday I got my Type S out to check the charge level. I haven't used it for almost six months, but it had plenty of life in it.

I got it at Costco four or five years ago for about $60. A tip for avoiding device stress.....If you store one of these battery packs under your seat, make sure it is not over an exhaust pipe or catalytic converter!

If you are not living on the edge, you are taking up too much space!

"Could do better if he tried!" Report card comments from most of my grade school teachers. Sadly, still true!

My 3 year old eBay generic $30 one also still works fine. I recently used it to start a 3.5 liter Honda V6 that had a dead battery and it fired it right up. I bought it for motorcycle use but ended up using it only on cars or for phone recharging.

Hey, $30 makes it a great "stocking stuffer" for next holiday season!
