La Mision Hotel in Loreto

My friends stayed at La Mision hotel in Loreto and we all met up for breakfast one morning.

The hotel is so pretty, it was quiet when we arrived before 8 am.

I thought I would share some photos for those who have not been there.

I've never stayed there but have eaten in the restaurant, excellent. I've heard nothing but good things about the hotel. It is the base hotel for NORRA when they stop in Loreto.

It sure has grown!
My first wife and I stayed there for a couple nights both northbound and southbound, on our 1985 honeymoon (camping and a couple motels to Cabo and back). The favorite thing for us there was the pool at night, watching the lightning over the gulf/ Sonora or Sinaloa (June), and the peña coladas at the outdoor bar by the pool!

My favorite hotel in all of Baja. They have micro-brews on tap.

We are staying there again in a couple weeks.

View from the rooms.
