Just for a hoot, I'm betting you've never been to Loreto Bay. I mean stayed there, played golf, tennis?

I'd sure be looking at resale history before buying there.

Plus, golfers know the better golf course is Danzante Bay. Positive JZ is checking it out.

Here's the upside: if you golf, play tennis, pickle ball, swim, an all inclusive resort works. If food is upscale, you're home free. Sounds pretty good to me.

no doubt Danzantebay is a beautiful course, at $210 a round and
Loreto bay at $110 a round they're both too rich for my blood:( as far as that gringo enclave/karen fortress called Loreto Bay it looks like a nice place to live to me!

yikes! that is expensive golf! much cheaper to play at my local city courses, torrey pines, balboa, mission trails. i would expect golf to be way cheaper in mexico -- why so expensive?

There is no agency in Mexico, no fiduciary responsibility, obligation, nothing to require the "agent" to be honest or complete any action. The first step of any real estate transaction is to declare no commission shall be paid to any agent and the offer is exempt from agency representation commissions. Lower the offer accordingly, and proceed, as a buyer the cost to close and complete steps are totally separate from any commission which provide no value whatsoever. A failure to declare there is no agency and no % of money shall be paid from your offer to agents could allow the fraudulent agency to take a large amount of money from the transaction with no benefit to you.

If the seller wants to pay the agent, that is their separate transaction outside of selling price. Make it clear. No agency. No commission, reduce your offer to price 10% below or 20% more below asking to start with no agency stipulation.

Loreto Bay Golf Course usually offers weekly passes, the last one I saw, earlier this year, was $180 (yes, dollars, for those who always ask d or p?) for unlimited play for one week. And sometimes they have monthly passes. Do not quote me on rates, I suggest checking directly with the resort...NOT associated/administered by the HOA...for current deals, if any.

Thought this was about Jz finding a realtor. Not about golfing. Does he even play ?

There is much more in the Loreto area to enjoy then just a round of golf. Besides you can live anywhere in the area and still go golfing.

Let's find him a good realtor to work with and maybe share some local knowledge about homes he might be interested in.

Jz you said you were looking for realtor. Ok. But what type of property are you looking for ? Water front , lower price ,local area ,American neighbors ,etc. Let's break it down then we can offer you what we know from those that have lived there.

Ps meet you guys at the 19 th hole.

JZ,

JZ. What's up? You asking for yourself or someone else?

Rhintransit. Will you list details of your home here?

Photos finally available. The details of my casa for sale in Loreto Bay are available here. https://www.buyloreto.com/property/charming-2-bedroom-casa-c...

There is some place for everyone, and some time for a particular area. I have lived in a palapa on a remote beach (five years), a casita in Loreto town, and now about 7 in Loreto Bay. I’m moving on, not sure where, but Baja is in my blood and I will return.

Class act. Very, very nice. Continued success in your adventure. Don't know the market here but doubt any property will look nicer than this.

Talk to Jill Jackson at 'Mision Loreto Properties'. We've known her for 15 years and she is great for both Loreto and LB!
