Baja Nomad Ads.

Since im not a frequent user or colab often, everytime i log on, i click on the "Baja Bound" ad as a token of my appreciation for this site.

I dont know if this really helps or not, but i like it, because its not that invasive or strident as other forums or baja related sites.

Clicking on the other ads also helps Doug maintain this website.

I just did a search on Bing for a new set of tires for my Trooper. I found a local dealer, made an appointment for this afternoon, and the very first thing I see here is an advertisement for the make, model and size I just ordered!

I will bet that I will be seeing those tire adds every time I go online for a while.

That wasn't a complaint! I click on adds here frequently for things I am unlikely to use, just incase it helps bring revenue to this site.

What I meant about seeing the adds everywhere, is due to the browser I am using.

The Google ads are per click. The Baja Bound banner is not.

tbh, there's a reason the per click banner is closer to the navigation bar. Just sayin'.

;)

fyi

For better or worse, Google tracks people across platforms (and they're not the only ones). Some people like it, many don't. There's an uproar in the advertising industry over how invasive the industry is becoming. We'll see what happens over time.

This is from one of the few email newsletters I signed up for and read regularly (Bob Hoffman, the "Ad Contrarian"):
