Cuervo Restaurante at Adobe Guadalupe

Saturday all the better, well known places were booked. In fact most of them said you need to make reservation 2 weeks in advance for Saturday and Fridays are filling up as well. There is a small campestre, Cuervo, in the Adobe Guadalupe's garden at the rear of the hotel and they had room at 6:00 so we took it.
They open at 1:00 and last sitting is at 7:00. Turns out to be a little gem with maybe 15 tables spread under the olive trees overlooking the vineyard. Well behaved farm dogs lazing about.

3 primeras: soft toast with brie, simple romaine salad, jabia dip with tortillas.
Side of mac 'n cheese, crispy on top, gooey beneath, yummy.
Barbacoa of sheep
8 copas of Adobe Guadalupe wines.
$122 'merican; cards accepted.
The crab dip was so good we asked for the recipe via their
Facebook page and the sent it to us. Their menu is also on FB.

All the other diners were locals in their 20s or early 30s, some on dates or girls-night-out, that sort of vibe.

By the way, this is not Adobe's restaurant, theirs is a single sitting at 7:00, 5 course meal, prix fixe.
