I don't use Facebook, so that link doesn't work for me.

Yes, too hot. NO ONE goes to San Felipe in July, except for a few nut jobs.

Also, shaping up to be hottest summer ever. Thanks to profligate consumers of energy (past and present),…

It's the very best time to be out on the water.

Susan,
You are nuts!
Summer is horrible, too hot to be out in sun past 9 AM.
If the afternoon is totally uninhabitable, and it never gets cool enough at night to open a window, do you call that a vacation? I call it hell.

The amount of tourist I see thru San Felipe now is crazy, more so than in the winter and I don't spend much time in town.

July is fantastic!
We had a great time at Bob & Susan's on Concepción Bay, in July, too.

So many businesses in Baja have Facebook pages... much more so than web pages.

Crossing the desert to get to San Felipe the temps have been in the 110's. In those conditions a cooler with a few gallons of ice water can be a lifesaver. Ice water should be carried in the vehicle on travel days in the event of a breakdown or getting stuck in the hot sun. It cools your core temperature enough to survive even the fiercest heat.
