Anyone Driving Past Coco's Soon? (Updated at the end of the thread)

We stopped by Coco's yesterday on our way back to SF and seems Coco has a few needs that are somewhat urgent.

I'm going to get a propane regulator and hose so he can have "some" refrigeration AND a stove. He had to take the one he had and hook a small bottle to the fridge but it seems only the freezer works. I'm not heading back that way for a while so I would like someone to drop it off on their way.

The fridge is AC or gas and I hooked up an inverter he had but all it did was scream when I plugged it in, guessing the inverter was no big enough for the load. Anyone electrical minded could probably clean up some of the goofiness he's got going on with wiring of the batteries, seems whoever helped set things up there got it about 80% done and bailed.

Anyone coming thru SF on their way down I could meet you anywhere to hand off the parts and if you happen to be headed back this way, maybe you could bring my gas can I forgot to grab when I left there too.

I will add this to my Facebook page, thanks for helping the old guy!

The new location for Coco's Corner Ranch is between Km. 179 and 180, south of Gonzaga Bay. This was the site of Las Arrastras gold ore mill and rancho, years ago.

Coco needs a small efficient 12/24V Compressor refer and a couple of batteries! Gas refers don't work above 90!

Thanks to BigBearRider the propane regulator and hose are on their way to Coco now and thank you Mateo-Feo for the backup offer.

Neither of these fine gents are heading back north thru SF so my gas can is still stuck at Coco's.

If anyone is heading north in the near future and could grab the gas can and drop it in San Felipe I would be most grateful. Tacos and beer or a nice big chunk of fresh boneless skinless yellowtail await your arrival.

Coco’s house is now a two-bedroom. Next, he plans to put insulation in the walls and hang sheet rock. For now, it’s just studs and external plywood. It was 108 inside around midday Sunday. Coco didn’t think it was that hot. :)

29°32′58.61″N 114°20′29.12″W is what my map says. It’s before the bridge after the 179 Km sign on HWY5.

DavidK, Bing maps shows the new Hwy 5, and shows Coco's coordinates on the west side of the highway. Does this look right to you?

www.bing.com/maps?q=29°32′58.61″N+114°20′29.12″W&a...

If anyone driving that stretch of road missed Coco's, they would need to be blind. There is NOTHING else even close by to mistake being in the right place.

I am sure that you are correct, but he was still in his old camp the last time I passed his way. A lot of his plywood walls were already being stripped for material, but I did not know where is was being moved to.

He told me there was nothing left at the old place now, all got moved over and repurposed.
