Carjacking article (uses my 1986 Gonzaga photo):

I was a bit surprised to see the photo I took of my Subaru on the sand spit by Alfonsina's, in 1986!

Is your image in a stock photo site ? Or did the writer get it from the book?

That image is not in any book of mine. It must have been lifted from my website or Baja Nomad (but it has been a while since I posted it here).
For awhile it was the image at www.vivabaja.com before I replaced it with the Bahía Concepción/ Coyote Bay image.

It is not uncommon for Mexican publications to just use photos without asking or giving credit to the source. A photo I took at La Lobera in 2011 was used for the cover of a magazine! Ferna de Tijuana spotted it and alerted me... I told my wife and her daughter that they were now cover girls! LOL.

I do not mind people using my photos, but just credit where they came from.

I think this was the photo? If they had of contacted me, I would have given them a better photo with blue sky's!
