Most of Mexico Hwy 5 on GSV

If you all want a virtual tour of the highway south of San Felipe, most of it is now on Google Street View and dated as taken in September of this year. Looks like a pretty awesome road with some great scenery.

Great news, it had ended at Punta Estrella, previously.

Really curious is that the area on 5 from Las Arrastras West is incorrect in Google maps, even satellite view which cannot be 2021 as shown in the imagery....Shows the highway as the old cocos road....This also doesn't work yet in Street view. Street view ends not long after Bahia Gonzaga....
Google fibbing by mistake?

Maybe this is posted elsewhere, but thought it was strange...Bing Maps has it correctly shown in aerial view...

That Google map is the old road.
After seeing this post, I was hopeful... but the street view camera car didn't get too far south of the Gonzaga Pemex, not even to the rest area/ monument at Arroyo Santa MarĂa.

ArcGIS has the newer satellite image with all paved highway. Last I looked at Bling, it showed the bypass and canyon section still under construction?

Don't have an account to Arcogis, however bling has the new road with some dots on part of the construction in the flats N of old cocos....I did send a input to goog on correcting both the imagery (date at least) and route...
In any case the road in 2020 March was complete and awesome for a quick traverse....We shall see in a couple weeks when we get down there. Curious goog would have a current date on old imagery...that does not inspire confidence when one thinks they are looking at something current....
The virtual tour down 5 north of there is pretty entertaining.
Thx
