Here is the command you want to use in your post.

Only put an "x" after 800. img=800x

When you upload to postimg.org choose the option "Do not resize my image."

The 800x will size it correctly on the BN page. Keeping your original photo at full res on postimg.

I had never heard it called Jacques Cousteau Island. Just called it Isla Cerralvo.

Pic I took there in 2016. Isla Espiritu Santo is in the background.

That only works IF: the upload size is not more than 342kB.

That is not good advice. It makes you resize your photos before uploading to be under the size limit of the board.

He is 95% of the way there. Let's not confuse him.

He uploaded the file incorrectly to postimg.org. That caused the file to be resized. That's how you were then able to upload it.

This is why I keep telling DK to not give ppl advice to resize their photos using postimg. Just use =800x so it displays properly on BN.

The benefit is it leaves your photo quality in tack on postimg. You can post at full resolution on other sites that have a more modern photo management.

I would have to resize every single one of my photos if I did what you are suggesting.

It is just a matter of a one-time clicking the upload size option. Your way is to always need to type in =800x. If you post a lot of photos, that is not logical. I choose less work.

Yet, even with my step by step instructions, sometimes the wrong button is pressed. That is why I also tell how to easily EDIT and fix the photo. :light:

There is no Jaques Cousteau Island, that name was a scam to steal land and minerals, there only exists Cerralvo Island of Mexico.
