Note how green everything is and now it is bone dry.

Not the San Telmo arroyo en route to the Sierra San Pedro Mártir observatory. Those saints certainly got around!
There are a few rock climbing routes in Arroyo San Telmo (aka: Arroyo Las Parras). A few miles west of Loreto, off the paved road to San Javier.
