Horseshoe Crab?

I found what appeared to be a baby horseshoe crab on the beach south of San Felipe. It was about 2 inches long. I can't find any information on them being in this area. Has anyone seen these in Baja? Sorry, no pic.

I've only seen them on the east coast, must be some other species.
