I agree. You will often see prayers to La Virgin Guadalupe, Bendice este hogar; Bless this home, not Bendice esta casa. Casa is house, hogar refers to home.
Querencia, is sometimes translated to Home Sweet Home, but more often as lair.
Domicillio also refers to home, but in the context mentioned above, hogar seems the most appropriate. Context can be everything in translation...
