Playa Escondida

I used to live on the beach for about 11 years and left about 5-6 years ago, maybe more. Any info would be helpful. For example, road in, any palapas, any people, etc. Thanks in advance.

Do you mean the Playa Escondida on Bahia Concepcion?

It has become a popular place over the past 5 years. It will fill-up during the winter months. There are new palapas and the road in is good for smaller rigs. Ground clearance can be a problem for the bigger RVs. There are a few well-maintained pit toilets. It's a good beach for launching small boats with 4-wheel drive. The bottom drops off faster than some of the other beaches. I don't know the cost. I'm guessing $10 a night.

Here is what I have on Playa Escondida from 2017:

Km. 111+ Playa La Escondida road, 0.5 mile. A camping area, 'hidden' from others.

The road back to Hwy. 1, Posada Concepción in the distance:

On my map, Playa La Escondida is just north of Los Cocos:

Late Feb. this year. Very popular with small rigs but they tend to not stay for the season so there can be space available at times.
